Qualifications & experience

Certified EC–6 Teacher
ESL Certified
Bachelor of Science in Human Development & Family Studies, Texas Tech University
Master of Education in Teacher Leadership, Lamar University
Over 20 years working with children
15 years public school teaching kindergarten
5+ years in daycare

A warm, safe, and nurturing environment where your child can learn, play, and grow.

How many children will be there?: My two-year-old and six-month-old, plus two to three additional children. That is the whole program — small on purpose, so your child gets personalized care and attention.
What ages do you take?: Eighteen to thirty-six months.
When does it start, and what are the hours?: Starting late September, Tuesdays and Thursdays, 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
What does it cost?: $130 a week, paid weekly, plus a one-time $30 registration fee — one fee per family, however many children you have with us.
Where are you?: Cedar Hill, near Joe Pool Lake. The full address comes with your welcome note once a spot is confirmed.
Is this a licensed daycare?: Care is provided in a loving, listed home with the State of Texas Child Care Regulation.
What will my child actually be doing?: Learning through play, with an eye on kindergarten. Our curriculum is based on the state TEKS, and we work through seasonal and monthly themes. The focus is social and emotional development — confidence, kindness, and strong relationships.
Do I send a snack?: We'll talk about it at our meet-and-greet — I'll ask about allergies then, and we'll settle the details together.
